• First Prize at the I London International A Cappella Choir Competition..

2012

• Prize to the Best performance of the compulsory work, in the  XIV Antigua Abesbatzak Lehiaketa (Zumárraga, Basque Country).

• 1st prize in the Small Group Contest of Asturias (Candás) 

2011

• 43rd International Choral Competition in Tolosa.- LDO brought home three important prizes:  second prize in the Polyphony section, second prize in the Folk section, first prize for the best interpretation of a Basque work. Los Peques, (the junior choir) won the second prize in the children’s choir category. 

• Second Prize in the 11th International Choral Contest in Maribor (Slovenia).

• The ‘Guidoneum Award 2011’ Prize. This prize is awarded by the ‘Guido d’Arezzo’ Foundation and is given to choirs that have made history in the ‘Guido d’Arezzo’ International Polyphonic Competition (Italy).

• The ‘Errante 2011’ award given by the ‘Errante’ choir of the Comarca (Region) de la Sidra (Asturias).

2010

• First Prize in the national ‘Ciudad de Torrevieja’ competition at the 56th  International Contest of Habaneras and Polyphony in Torrevieja (Alicante).

2009:

• The distinction of ‘Asturians of the Month’ in March in the newspaperLA NUEVA ESPAÑA.

• Participated in the 21st European Grand Prix for Choral Singing, part of  the ‘Florilège Vocal de Tours’ event in Tours (France).

2008

• Grand Prix ‘Città di Arezzo’ at the 56th International Polyphonic Competition ‘Guido d’Arezzo’ (Italy).

• First prize in the romantic music category at the 56th International Polyphonic Competition ‘Guido d’Arezzo’ (Italy).

• First prize in the contemporary music category at the 56th International Polyphonic Competition ‘Guido d’Arezzo’ (Italy).

• First prize in the folk music category at the 56th International Polyphonic Competition ‘Guido d’Arezzo’ (Italy).

• First prize in the polyphony category (choirs of 17-32 members) at the 56th International Polyphonic Competition ‘Guido d’Arezzo’ (Italy).

• Audience Prize at the 56th International Polyphonic Competition ‘Guido d’Arezzo’ (Italy).

• Prize for the best interpretation of the set work at the 56th International Polyphonic Competition ‘Guido d’Arezzo’ (Italy).

• Winner of the FIRACOR II 2008 Prize at the XXVIII Choral Contest ‘Fira de Tots Sants’ in Cocentaina (Alicante).

2007

• Prize for the Best Choral Group in the II ‘Villa de Bembibre’ Choral Festival, celebrated in the region of León in May 2006.

• Second Prize, in the mixed choir category, at the 9th  International Choir Contest of Flanders–Maasmechelen (Belgium).

• First Prize at the XXVII Choral Contest ‘Fira de Tots Sants’ in Cocentaina (Alicante).

• Audience Prize at the XXVII Choral Contest ‘Fira de Tots Sants’ in Cocentaina (Alicante).

2006

• The ‘Axuntábense 2005’ prize from the Asturian Choral Federation.

• Overall Champion in the VIII National Grand Prix for Choral Singing, in Ejea de los Caballeros (Zaragoza), after winning First Prize in both the Polyphony and Folklore categories.

• Second Prize in the Folklore category at the 38th International Choir Contest in Tolosa (Guipúzcoa).

2005

• First Prize at the XXXVI Choral Contest in Ejea de los Caballeros (Zaragoza).

• Second Prize in the Chamber Choirs category, at the XXVIII International May ‘Prof.  Georgi Dimitrov’ Choir Competition inVarna(Bulgaria).

• Third Prize in the Mixed Choirs category, at the XXVIII International May’Prof. Georgi Dimitrov’ Choir Competition inVarna(Bulgaria).

2004

• ‘Urogallo de Bronce 2003’ Award from the Asturian Centre inMadrid.

• Second Prize, in the National Choirs section at the 50th International Contest of Habaneras and Polyphony in Torrevieja (Alicante).

2003

• Overall champion in the V National Grand Prix of Choral Singing, at San Vicente dela Barquera(Cantabria), after winning First Prize in both the Polyphony and Folklore categories.

• First Prize at the XI Folklore Competition and Festival in the Principality ofAsturias.

• Third Prize in the National Religious Music Competition in Novelda (Alicante).

2002

• First Prize ‘Lira Marina de Oro’ and Special Audience Prize in the National Competition at San Vicente dela Barquera (Cantabria).

• Third Prize in the National Christmas Carol Contest for Choirs at Molina de Segura (Murcia).
